Encouraging young people to be enterprising should start as soon as they start their school life.
Enterprise skills are skills for life. By encouraging young people to develop their enterprise skills at an early age – to be confident making decisions, working with others and communicating ideas – we give them the tools to be more effective learners and from this solid foundation they will achieve more at secondary.
“Enterprise education makes young people more independent and more switched on.”
Evelyn Baxter, Year 3 teacher at Rawmarsh Ashwood School in Rotherham.
