Business in Schools

Description:

Business in Schools is a campaign by education foundation Edge, encouraging business to work with schools and colleges to enrich young people’s education. The centerpiece of the campaign is this website. Completely free of charge to users, it helps businesses identify local opportunities to work with schools and colleges. Businessinschools.co.uk provides employers with information on a wide variety of work-related learning activities, and helps them identify and contact local schools and colleges that need their help.

Enterprise Village

Description:

Enterprise Village is the website of the Enterprise Network. This is the result of the contract from the DCSF to move the Schools’ Enterprise Education Network (S’EEN) forward into the next phase. The contract calls for support for enterprise education from 5-19, with a plan that is flexible, responsive to local need and sustainable beyond the end of the project.

Enterprise Week

Description:

Enterprise Week takes place in November each year. It’s a national celebration of enterprise where thousands of activities are run by organisations across the UK to encourage people to unlock their enterprising talent. In 2008, for the first time Enterprise Week became part of Global Entrepreneuship Week. Visit the website to keep up to date and get involved with this year’s Enterprise Week.
